HBB establishes the contact between the Guest and the Host, manages the reservation, and transfers the payment safely.
The idea
The idea behind Helsinki Bed and Breakfast is to open the doors, i.e. to offer our Guests an opportunity to stay in a homely environment at a reasonable cost and to contact local people in their every day life.
The Host gets an opportunity to meet new interesting people, more experience in languages, and a compensation payment for his/her efforts and expenses.
I believe that
• Helsinki would be too cold for a visitor if only hotels and hostels were available for accommodation,
• the city and its visitors are worth an alternative, and
• you are welcome to your home in Helsinki !

The company was established in January 2007, and keeps on developing contacts with new Hosts.
The company is owned and run by myself, Tapani Koskela.
