Booking

Choose your host and book as advised here.

Cancellations before your arrival (valid from 01 March 2012)

(a) more than 21 days: you will be refunded 80% of your total sum deducted by 30€
(b) 21-7 days: as in (a) if the host can be offered to another guest, otherwise 40% will be refunded
(c) less than 7 days: as in (a) if the host can be offered to another guest, otherwise no refunding can be guaranteed but we will assist you in communicating with your travel insurance company

Changes

- one change of date(s), if possible at the same host:   without expenses up to 7 days before arrival, and after that like a cancellation and a new reservation
- change of host, either due to your wish or as a consequence of your date change:  normally like a cancellation and a new reservation
- you are welcome to extend your stay after the arrival. It is simply like a new reservation

Confirmation and payment

You must confirm your reservation within three days by paying it in a secured on-line connection, or as a bank transfer. Payment instruction will be sent to you electronically as soon as the reservation has been agreed on. In on-line payment process, Helsinki Bed and Breakfast (HBB) will not receive any of your confidental information.

Responsibilities and rights

HBB is responsible for inspecting every Host for his/her adequacy to accommodate and for the correctness of the information shown on these pages at the time of inspection. HBB is also responsible for the honest management of the payments received or to be refunded. HBB is obliged to offer help in any situation where the accommodation confirmed becomes unavailable due to fire, other material damage, strike, war, sickness of the Host, or similar.
The Host is responsible for offering the accommodation reserved, and for informing both the guest and HBB for any changes that significantly invalidate the information given on these pages prior to the arrival of the Guest.
The Guest is responsible for showing mutual respect to the Host and his/her home, and for any damages to the property there. He/she is responsible of keeping the keys, returning them before departure, and for never lending them to anyone else or offering access to the apartment to any outsider without informing the host.
